Miami, FL- (Dec. 17,2009) El pianista/compositor/arreglista Arthur Hanlon cierra el 2009 con broche de oro, grabando el tema “La Gota de la Vida”, que compuso a beneficio de City of Hope y en el que participarán algunos de los más grandes artistas latinos, incluidos Luis Fonsi, David Bisbal, Gloria Estefan y Enrique Iglesias, entre otros. El tema, que busca crear conciencia sobre la importancia de donar sangre y médula ósea, será lanzado a principios del 2010, y con un video dirigido por Simon Brand. City of Hope es el célebre centro médico y de investigación contra el cáncer. La grabación de “La Gota de la Vida”, que tuvo lugar en Las Vegas y esta semana en Miami, culminan un año de éxitos para Hanlon, quien lanzó su álbum “Piano Sin Fronteras” este año bajo el sello Universal Music Latino. En el álbum de temas inéditos, compuestos por Arthur y sus amigos, participan Luis Fonsi, Ricardo Montaner, Juanes, Laura Pausini, Myriam Hernández, Alexandre Pires y Sergio Vallín de Maná. Arthur Hanlon ended 2009 on a high note with the taping of the song “La Gota de
la Vida” (The Drop of Life), which he wrote to benefit City of Hope’s efforts
to enlist more Hispanic donors into its bone marrow registry. The songs, which
will be officially released in early 2010, will feature dozens of top Latin
acts—a la “We Are the World”—including Luis Fonsi, David Bisbal, Gloria Estefan
and Enrique Iglesias, among others, and Arthur on piano. The video is being
directed by Simon Brand. City of
Hope is the pre-eminent medical and investigative center that works with cancer
patients.
Taping of “La
Gota de la Vida” took place in Las Vegas and in December in Miami, and caps off
an extraordinary year for Arthur, who released his album “Piano Sin
Fronteras” on Universal Music
Latino. The acclaimed recording of new material, written by Arthur with his
friends, includes duets with Luis Fonsi, Ricardo Montaner, Juanes, Laura
